With Qualifying Miles, We Are Scientists release their ninth studio album – and for the first time since their debut, an album by the band is released worldwide on a single label: Grönland Records.
We are very happy that after three successful European releases we can now also be the global home for the band.
Musically, on Qualifying Miles, Keith Murray and Chris Cain return to a more direct, "band in a room" sound, reminiscent of the '90s guitar rock heroes of their youth. The songs are carried by melancholic nostalgia and typical WAS humor—familiar yet new at the same time.
The band tours Europe, the UK and later North America with the album.
